While the most of the country deals with blizzards, bitter cold, and the general all-around despair that comes with Winter, we at Scottsdale Park Suites in Arizona breeze through the season in paradise. Scottsdale, Arizona experiences Winter with average temps in the mid 60’s and low 70’s. For example; on January 8th the high was 73 degrees!  Here’s a list of our Top 5 things to do in Scottsdale during the winter.

#1. Spring Training

Arizona hosts the Cactus League Spring Training in February and March. The streets are filled with MLB fans from all around! With Scottsdale Stadium, Sloan Park and Salt River Fields minutes from Scottsdale Park Suites we make the perfect home base for any San Francisco Giant, Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies fan!

#2. Go Golf!

Many will argue this is the best time of year for America’s favorite leisure sport, and we agree! What better way to experience it than at Continental Golf?! #5. The Oldtown Artwalk

Art and Travel

An extended stay at Scottsdale Park Suites wouldn’t be complete without a experiencing the Oldtown Artwalk!  Every Thursday from 7:00pm – 9:00pm galleries open their doors to the public and display their art of the Southwest. Local and traveling artists also display their art, and offer life demonstrations in unique crafts such as sculpting.
